Kurt Kitayama won the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational to earn his first career PGA Tour victory. With a win this week, the reigning champion would join Loren Roberts (1994-95), Tiger Woods (2000-03, 2008-09, 2012-13) and Matt Every (2014-15) as back-to-back winners of the API and become the eighth multiple winner of the event, joining Woods (8), Every (2), Roberts (2), Jerry Heard (2), Gary Koch (2), Tom Kite (2) and Ernie Els (2).
