Wyndham Clark won the Wells Fargo Championship on Sunday to become the eighth first-time winner on the PGA Tour this season. So what's up with the surge of maiden winners? Clearly there is no shortage of talent on the Tour, so some of it can be chalked up to the on-any-given-Sunday theory that anyone can emerge victorious. But players are also filling the void left by those who bolted for LIV Golf. At this point a year ago, five current LIV Golf players had accounted for seven PGA Tour wins.
