When the 10th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship gets underway Saturday, it will mark the 64th time a USGA championship will be contested in New Jersey. The Garden State features a number of historic venues, including Baltusrol Golf Club, which has hosted 16 USGA championships, including seven U.S. Opens, four U.S. Amateurs and two U.S. Women’s Opens. Also, New Jersey has held the fourth-most USGA championships, only trailing Pennsylvania (94), California (90) and New York (75).
