Yuka Saso appears to have cracked the code for winning the U.S. Women's Open. On Sunday, Saso, still just 22 years old, won her second Open, finishing at 4-under 276 to win by three strokes over Hinako Shibuno at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In doing so, Saso joins Se Ri Pak and In Gee Chun as the only players who won major championships for each of their first two LPGA Tour wins. Also, Saso becomes the youngest player to win the U.S. Women’s Open twice and the first player to win the title under two different country flags — representing the Philippines in 2021 and representing Japan in 2024.
