While the top accolade at the John Deere Classic went to Brian Campbell, who dispatched Emiliano Grillo in a playoff, you couldn’t help but feel good for fan darling Max Homa who earned his first top 10 since the 2024 Masters. He led early Sunday, too. After a frustrating season marked by a complete overhaul of his swing and mindset, missing cuts, and parting ways with his long-time caddie, it seems the 34-year-old is heading in the right direction.
