According to a recent National Golf Foundation finding, 63% of the United States' golf facilities surveyed believed they were operating at or near capacity. Broken down, of the 10,257 public facilities, 59% stated they were at or near capacity; of the 3,705 private facilities, 71% were at or near capacity.

Imperial: Headwear manufacturer will be the official hat supplier of the 2024 U.S. Solheim Cup Team. This marks the second successive year that Imperial has worked with U.S. Captain Stacy Lewis to create custom headwear for the American squad.
LPGA Professionals: Announce that Marvol Barnard and Cindy Miller will be inducted into the LPGA Professionals Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Barnard, of Green Valley, Arizona, is LPGA Professionals' national president and director of instruction at the Country Club of Green Valley. Miller, of Buffalo, New York, is an LPGA Professional and former LPGA Tour player, and an author, radio co-host, speaker and corporate trainer.
Sacks Parente Golf: Effective immediately, the golf equipment company will restructure its putter and shaft divisions under the new name Newton Golf, with the subtitle, "A Sacks Parente Company.” The company’s stock symbol will remain the same. The original Sacks Parente Golf putter division will now be called Newton Gravity within Newton Golf, while Newton Motion Shafts will keep its segment name. In the coming weeks, the Newton Gravity putter division will unveil five new putters.
Eastside Golf: Introduces its fall collection, “Everyone’s Game,” which includes its debut footwear collaboration with Nike. The collection will be previewed at Eastside Golf’s New York City pop-up shop Sept. 12-15, and will have as a cornerstone the release of two Eastside Golf x Nike footwear models — the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 OG’, a hybrid non-spiked golf shoe, and the spiked Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3, Eastside Golf’s first performance shoe. The shoes will be available for purchase on Oct. 4 via Eastside Golf’s app and later on Nike.com on Oct. 7.
MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com: Fourteen men’s college teams will compete in the inaugural MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com Intercollegiate, Sept. 8-10 at the Grande Dunes Resort Course in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The 54-hole event, hosted by Coastal Carolina University, will include Campbell University, East Carolina University, Elon University, Appalachian State University, James Madison University, Old Dominion University, Florida Atlantic University, Western Carolina University, University of Maryland, University of Texas at El Paso, Jacksonville University, Santa Clara University and Texas State University.
