The drama and mugshot of Scottie Scheffler being arrested at the PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. You can't make that sort of thing up.

If a PGA Tour tournament can be compared to a horse race, then pretty much every race really gets exciting on the home stretch or the final round. This may not be a truly enlightening opinion, but this certainly applies to this season’s biggest events, especially the four majors and Players Championship.

My favorite memories were in the handful of tournaments that had all of the world’s top players. Winning events in which many elite players (Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepke, Cam Smith, etc.) are banned is a hollow victory.
Imagine how many more tourneys Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson would have won if one or the other had been barred. As impressive as Scheffler’s year was, many wins came against purposely watered-down fields.

PLAYOFFS ... DID YOU SAY PLAYOFFS?
[Making sense of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs]
I responded to a question about the Tour Championship/FedEx Cup format recently. At East Lake, Scottie Scheffler offered the best explanation for keeping the new format. He said that he preferred the old format, but since the sponsors were the ones putting up all of the money for the Cup race and the sponsors wanted the new format, then the players have to accept that they must play the new format.
