THE 12-HOLER
➡️ The National Golf Foundation reports that 99% of the courses in its national database are either 9- or 18-hole courses. Of the remaining 1%, 141 are alternative courses ranging from 3 to 22 holes, and about 30 are 12-hole courses. That alone is not the story. The fact that more than half of those 30 have opened in the past 10 years, with another dozen 12-holers in the pipeline, is the tale of a trend.
