FIRST THOUGHT

As a rookie in 2021-22, Sahith Theegala qualified for the season-ending Tour Championship and finished a distant 28th. Normally that would be the end of the story, but due to changes made to eligibility regulations effective this season, just by qualifying for the Tour Championship, Theegala earned a two-year exemption on Tour and a spot in the field at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions. He's not alone either, as Aaron Wise, Cameron Young, Brian Harman, Corey Conners and Scott Stallings also earned the same benefits.
