Jennifer Kupcho and Miyu Yamashita wrapped up two of the LPGA's bigger season awards last week. Kupcho won the season-long Aon Risk Reward Challenge — and the $1 million prize — and Yamashita secured the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Award. At this week's season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, a few other awards will be determined. For the money title, Minjee Lee leads Jeeno Thitikul by $244,058; for the Vare Trophy (scoring average), Thitikul (68.88) leads Nelly Korda (69.58); and in the Rolex Player of the Year race, Thitikul leads Yamashita by just 16 points. Points are awarded to top-10 finishers on the leaderboard, with 30 points awarded for a victory. Should Yamashita win, she would become only the second player in LPGA history to win both Player and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, alongside Nancy Lopez.
