Three points from the Hero World Challenge:
▪️ In winning the tournament's first playoff since 2013 — with a birdie on the first playoff hole — Hideki Matsuyama led the field in Strokes Gained: Around the Green (4.082) for the week.
▪️ Matsuyama becomes the sixth multiple winner of the Hero World Challenge: Scottie Scheffler (2023, 2024), Viktor Hovland (2021, 2022), Graeme McDowell (2010, 2012), Davis Love III (2000, 2003) and Tiger Woods (2001, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2011).
▪️ Two-time reigning champion Scottie Scheffler (T4) closed with a 68 in his bid to become the first player to win the tournament in three consecutive years.
