Missouri has long been known as the "Show-Me State" and, in terms of golf, it's living into that billing. A recent study conducted for the Missouri Division of Tourism reports that golf generated $2.1 billion economic impact in 2023 — the most recent year with complete data — up from $1.7 billion when the last study was completed in 2010. Another finding was that residents and visitors played an estimated 9.7 million rounds, up 39% from 2019. Missouri currently has more than 315 golf facilities, with 71% open to the public.
