SAN ANTONIO, TX — Grounds tickets and other packages for the 104th anniversary of the Valero Texas Open will go on sale starting tomorrow as San Antonio’s historical PGA TOUR event returns this spring to TPC San Antonio’s The Oaks course, March 30-April 5, a week preceding the Masters Tournament.
Last week tournament officials announced an impressive group of early player commitments for the 132-player field that include 2025 Champion, Brian Harman, World No. 3 and last week’s winner on the PGA TOUR, Justin Rose, World No. 4 and 2025 season-long PGA TOUR FedExCup Champion Tommy Fleetwood, World No. 7, reigning U.S. Open Champion and 2022 Valero Texas Open Champion, J.J. Spaun and World No. 18 and two time major champion, Collin Morikawa.
Tournament officials also announced today that a Night to Honor Our Heroes presented by USAA will feature World Golf Hall of Fame member Gary Player.
“l’m delighted to be returning to the Texas Open this year - an event I played three times during my career,” said Mr. Player. “But to be a part of the Night to Honor Our Heroes banquet and having the opportunity to show my support for the men and women of the armed forces, will be particularly gratifying.”
The Valero Texas Open’s long-standing tradition of celebrating “Military City, USA” continues this year as active military, wounded veterans, and corporate supporters gather Friday night of tournament week on April 3 for this annual military appreciation banquet.
"We are proud to stand alongside the Valero Texas Open, which began its journey the same year USAA was founded in 1922," said USAA Vice President and Head of Brand Marketing Jen Escobar. "This partnership is a natural extension of our mission to take care of the military community, and it allows us to celebrate the sacrifices of our veterans and military families while showcasing our city's unwavering support for those who serve our nation."
