Half Moon Resort

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Half Moon Resort
The call of the Carribbean can be alluring and the iconic Half Moon Resort, located along the north coast of Jamaica, is capable of sealing any deal on whether to visit. Opened in February 1954 and currently enjoying a renovated renaissance, Half Moon offers varied experiences to accommodate travelers ranging from couples to families to golf outings. The 400-acre resort features three distinct sections — Founders Cove, which incorporates much of the resort's original history; Rose Hall, which offers a range of luxurious villas; and The Eclipse, the newly opened destination. Half Moon is owned by three of the original founding families, and is managed by the Salamander Collection. Both Founders Cove and The Eclipse received Forbes four-star awards in 2022.

Each villa features a living and dining room, outdoor living space and private pool. Each also comes with a butler, housekeeper and a cook. (Photo: Half Moon Resort)
