CLEVELAND GOLF
The Drop: The company is touting the new RTX 6 ZipCore wedge as not your ordinary wedge as its got three technology aspects — HydraZip, ZipCore and UltiZip — that should deliver high-spin shots regardless of lie.

What They Are Saying: “The RTX 6 ZipCore Wedge may have the classic look on the outside, but inside it’s packed with three technological breakthroughs that give the advantage to the golfer and not the conditions.” — Pat Ripp, Cleveland Golf, tour engineering manager of research and development

Details:
> The face features HydraZip, a dynamic blast and laser-milled line system to maximize friction that research and development testing shows creates 43% more spin in wet conditions than previous generations.
> A low-density ZipCore core expands the sweet spot and upgrades the MOI (Moment of Inertia) for better forgiveness on miss-hit shots. The center of gravity is also moved to directly behind the impact zone.
> Wedge features high/low and heel/toe MOI in each loft for increased spin, distance and control.
> UltiZip technology has created grooves that are sharper, deeper and more tightly spaced to enhance spin and control.
> The RTX 6 ZipCore will be available in Tour Satin, with additional finishes coming later this year.

Specs: Wedge is available in four sole grinds and a variety of lofts — Low (58°-60°), Low+ (54°-56°), Mid ·(46°-60°), Full (54°-60°).

Price | Availability: $169.99. Available in the U.S. on Jan. 20.
