First you need to view the video put together by The Fried Egg with comments from Gil Hanse and Geoff Shackelford to enjoy the excellent golf architecture the course presents to the competitors. I’ll be watching our best golfers on fantastic ground.

Much like Oak Hill [which hosted last month's PGA Championship] LACC will be a resounding success. A truly classic golf course that will challenge the world’s best player. The golfing public is in for a real  treat. Best of all with Pacific Coast Time, most of the country can watch the exciting golf action in prime time.

Looking forward to seeing what is supposed to be a great golf course that most of the TV viewing public does not know. I hope the players are challenged, where no better than 10-under par wins. And I hope about six of the 15 best players in the world are in the hunt on the back nine Sunday, with one or two dark horses to see how it all shakes out on prime time TV.
