My favorite memory of Phil Mickelson is his crashing on the last few holes of this U.S. Open and missing the cut. Now he can return to LIV "Ciruus" Golf where he and his fellow greedy friends kiss the rings of the blood thirsty Saudis. Goodbye, Phil. Good riddance.

While I have many memories of Phil Mickelson at the U.S. Open, most would be categorized as bad or painful memories and not "favorite." So many close calls, so much heartbreak. I will say this year's 2025 U.S. Open and Phil's likely swan song will be my favorite U.S. Open memory for this polarizing golf icon.
