Question of the week [January 26 – February 1]: What is your ideal setting to watch golf — either remotely or in person?

In-person ... when with my son. We've logged two PGA Championships (Bethpage, Oak Hill) and one U.S. Open (Pinehurst), and we had planned on the Bethpage Ryder Cup until the PGA of America screwed over everyone with their unconscionable pricing, and we still hope to go to an Open Championship. And we're still deluded in thinking one day we'll win the Masters ticket lottery.
But other than attending majors with my son, I greatly prefer watching remotely, notwithstanding the fact that most network coverage is atrocious. Which is why I watch streams almost exclusively, to the exclusion of virtually all network coverage, when streams are available.

If I have not seen the course, then to walk the course and pick a few groups that interest me. Or, if I have seen the course, pick out a few key spots to watch tee shots, approaches and putting.
