KEY FACTOR
Going into July, the ocean signals continue to be subdued. Northern parts of the Pacific and Atlantic remain warm, but the tropics, which have the bigger effect on U.S. rain, have near normal temperatures. Compared to similar years, golf course operators can expect the following:

> Below normal rain for most clubs in the Midwest, Ohio Valley and Mississippi Valley
> Slightly above normal rain for the Northeast and most of the Southeast, with drier areas in the Mid-Atlantic
> Dry conditions in north Texas and wet conditions in south Texas
> Drier than normal weather across central and south Florida
> A slowdown in the southwestern monsoon
> Normal dry conditions across the rest of the West

From Monday outings to weekend tournaments and everything in between, Vortex has custom rain insurance policies to fit your club’s needs and budget. Got questions? Contact Eric Anderson at 203-550-6150 or eanderson@vortexinsurance.com today.
