Troon: Selected to manage the city of Detroit, Michigan's three municipal golf facilities — Chandler Park, Rackham and Rouge Park golf courses. Indigo Sports, a Troon company, will oversee golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage, and sales and marketing.
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas: Announces it will host the first Ladies Open, Oct. 22-26 at the La Romana, Dominican Republic, destination. The tournament will include four rounds on the seaside trio of acclaimed Pete Dye-designed layouts — Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links. Also included will be a welcome dinner, a signature massage at The Spa, complimentary transfers from all three area airports, and an awards banquet at the resort’s Minitas Beach Club. Rates for the Ladies Open begin at $2,773 (per golfer, double occupancy).
Outlyr: Hires Ryan Luckey as executive vice president and head of marketing. Luckey will report to Outlyr partners Tim Erensen and Andy Bush. Luckey joins Outlyr’s executive leadership team to lead strategic planning, client development and overall marketing and brand communications.
Presidents Cup: U.S. Team Captain Jim Furyk announces Keegan Bradley as his fourth captain’s assistant. Bradley, recently named the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain, will join fellow assistants Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard and Kevin Kisner when the Presidents Cup returns to Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Canada, Sept. 24-29.
