Concert Golf Partners: Acquires The Club at Pasadera, located in Monterey, California, from a group of local investors. The acquisition marks Concert Golf Partners' entry into the California market.
McLemore: Appoints Greg Lecker as its new director of golf for the Lookout Mountain, Georgia, club. Lecker joins McLemore from Columbia Country Club in Maryland, where he served as the assistant golf professional for over five years.
Noteefy: Names Michael Dwyer as director of business development of the technology company. Dwyer will interface with daily-fee golf courses and resorts throughout North America to adopt the Noteefy system whereby golfers desiring tee times already taken by others at their favorite courses receive real-time text and e-mail alerts when those slots open due to cancellation. They then book tee times online per the normal process.
PGA Tour: Scottie Scheffler wins the Jack Nicklaus Award as PGA Tour Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Scheffler, No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, is the first player to win Player of the Year honors in back-to-back seasons since Tiger Woods won the award three successive years (2005-2007). Also, Eric Cole, the only rookie to advance to the 2023 BMW Championship, wins PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors and receives the Arnold Palmer Award. Both awards are determined by a member vote — Scheffler received 38% of the vote for the Jack Nicklaus Award; Cole received 51% of the vote for the Arnold Palmer Award.
