WOMEN'S SCOTTISH OPEN TALKING POINTS
➡️ Nelly Korda enters the Women's Scottish Open leading the LPGA Tour in official season earnings at $5.68 million and a scoring average of 68.68. The world No. 1 has captured four titles in 2026, including two major victories. Korda sits just two points away from reaching the LPGA Hall of Fame threshold, with a win this week adding another point.
➡️ Reigning champion Lottie Woad returns to Dundonald Links for her second appearance at the Women's Scottish Open. In 2025, Woad captured her maiden LPGA title in her professional debut, becoming the youngest winner in tournament history at age 21. She also broke the 54-hole tournament scoring record and tied the 72-hole mark during her victory.
➡️ World No. 4 Hyo Joo Kim brings a historic putting streak into her eighth career appearance. Kim, a runner-up at the event in 2023 and 2025, has played 134 consecutive holes at Dundonald Links without recording a three-putt, the longest stretch in tournament history. She also leads the tour in putts per green in regulation.
➡️ The Women's Scottish Open features seven of the world's top-10 golfers, headlined by 19 major champions with 35 combined major titles. Serving as a final preparation for the AIG Women's Open, the $2 million event boasts a 144-player field that includes former major champion Ashleigh Buhai among four sponsor exemptions.
