Joel Dahmen would obviously like to win this week's Wyndham Championship. He'd also like to qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs. He took the right first step to both Thursday, shooting a 9-under 61 at Sedgefield Country Club to claim the first-round lead. What it will take to win is obvious — shoot the lowest score. Making the postseason is nearly as difficult. Currently 101st in the FedEx Cup standings, Dahmen needs a three-way T2 or better in order to qualify.
