FIRST THOUGHT

There will be plenty of drama at this week's Wyndham Championship as a number of notable players give a last-ditch effort to make the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Among those outside of the top 70 in the standings to qualify are Shane Lowry (76th), Justin Thomas (79th), Adam Scott (81st) and Billy Horschel (116th). Hail Mary time? The quartet's projections to qualify are the following: Lowry, a two-way T5; Thomas, a three-way T4; Scott, a three-way T3; and Horschel, a win.
