A familiar face and name sat atop the U.S. Senior Women's Open leaderboard Thursday in San Diego. Annika Sorenstam, who won the 2021 U.S. Senior Women’s Open along with the 1995, 1996 and 2006 U.S. Women’s Opens, shot a 3-under-par 70 at San Diego Country Club to put herself in the driver's seat. "I felt pretty solid from tee to green. I think I ended up in some good approach shots on the right side of the flag, which is very helpful on this course, so thank my caddie for that advice," she said. Sorenstam's caddie is a guy named Mike McGee — who happens to be her husband.
