FIRST THOUGHT

Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele have to be as close to being household golf names as possible. The trio has played in all four previous Zozo Championships, but so have Shugo Imahira, 31, and Satoshi Kodaira, 34, who are ranked Nos. 216 and 427, respectively, in the Official World Golf Ranking, and might not be as recognizable. Imahira has risen to as high as No. 30 in the world to start 2020 and led the Japan Golf Tour money list in 2018 and 2019. Kodaira climbed even higher, to No. 27, in early 2018 when he won the RBC Heritage.
