Three things to know about this week's PGA Tour Bank of Utah Championship:
▪️ Five of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking are in the field: Alex Noren (No. 17), Maverick McNealy (No. 19), Kurt Kitayama (No. 36), Billy Horschel (No. 38) and Jason Day (No. 42).
▪️ Seven players in the field have won a tournament on Tour this season: Steven Fisk (Sanderson Farms Championship), Ryan Gerard (Barracuda Championship), Joe Highsmith (Cognizant Classic), Kurt Kitayama (3M Open), William Mouw (ISCO Championship), Aldrich Potgieter (Rocket Classic) and Karl Vilips (Puerto Rico Open).
▪️ Sponsor exemption Michael Brennan claimed the Fortinet Cup title on PGA Tour Americas after claiming three victories during the 2025 season, earning him exempt status on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2026. The Wake Forest product will make his third career PGA Tour start and first since turning professional in 2024.
