FIRST THOUGHT

Given that 81% of the population, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, lives in urban areas, Open Links Golf created the Top Metro Courses in the U.S. list for 2022-23. The list is made up of 167 courses within a 10-mile radius of the center of the nation’s top 50 cities (based on population or GDP). The best city overall was Dallas with eight metro courses, while Miami was the best Metro city for public golf with five courses.
