FIRST THOUGHT

Three things to know about the PNC Championship, Dec. 20-21 at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
▪️ Hall of Famer Lee Trevino will make his 28th appearance, the only player to play in each edition of the event that debuted in 1995.
▪️ Two-time defending champion Bernhard Langer returns, along with his son Jason. Last year’s victory was Langer’s sixth PNC Championship title (2005, 2006, 2014, 2019, 2023, 2024), passing Raymond Floyd (5) for the most wins all-time.
▪️ The field features 20 teams, including the debut of 2019 U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland, who will play with his father, Dan.
