Akshay Bhatia has already proven he can win on the PGA Tour and that his initial win at the Barracuda Championship in July 2023 was no fluke by winning a second time — the Valero Texas Open in April. Now, Bhatia is looking to break out in a big way. For the second straight week, Bhatia played in the final pairing and might have won the Rocket Mortgage Classic had it not been for a three-putt bogey on the 72nd hole. If anything, Bhatia, who turned pro in 2019, has time on his side. After all, he's just 22, and became just the 11th player on record — since the start of the 1983 season — with four top-two finishes on the PGA Tour prior to turning 23 years old.
