FIRST THOUGHT

Just two years ago, Lilia Vu was making her own second chance. In 2021, playing on the Epson Tour, Vu won three times and finished first in the Race for the Card to reclaim her LPGA Tour card after losing priority status in 2019. Now she's making the most of that opportunity. On Sunday, Vu, 26, won the The Annika for her fourth victory of a season that also includes winning two of the five majors — the first American to win two since 1999. The latest win moved her to No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf rankings.
