After winning the RSM Classic on Sunday, Ludvig Aberg said, "It’s been six months I’ll never forget." You think? Six months ago, the 24-year-old Swede was still enrolled at Texas Tech University. He then secured his 2024 PGA Tour card by topping the PGA Tour University rankings after the conclusion of the NCAA D-I Championships and, shortly thereafter, made his pro debut at the RBC Canadian Open (tying for 25th). When he won the European Tour's European Masters in early September, he solidified himself as a European Ryder Cup captain's picks — and became the first player to play in a Ryder Cup before recording a major appearance. In winning his first PGA Tour title, Aberg shot 61-61 on the weekend to finish at 29-under 253, tying or setting six scoring records along the way. In 11 PGA Tour starts as a professional, Aberg's totaled 10 made cuts and eight top-25s. So, yeah, it's hard to forget that kind of start to a professional career.
