Copper Rock Golf Course: The Hurricane, Utah, course will host the Epson and Legends tours in 2024. The Epson Tour will return for the Copper Rock Championship, May 13-18, and the LPGA Senior Championship the following week, May 20-25.
Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, True Blue Golf Club: Pawleys Island, South Carolina, courses unveil their Winter Getaway plan. The three- or four-night package allows golfers to play True Blue and Caledonia in the combination of their choosing while enjoying golf villa options of two-, three- and four-bedroom units.
Sacks Parente Golf: Introduces Newton, the company's latest business division and first foray into manufacturing golf club shafts. The debut Newton Motion driver shaft is a carbon fiber shaft designed to enhance a golfer’s performance by promoting straighter and longer shots with reduced effort.
Kinsale Golf Club: Names Rusty Mercer as director of agronomy for the North Naples, Florida, club that is scheduled to open in fall 2024. Mercer was most recently the director of agronomy at the Streamsong Resort in Lakeland, Florida, and has also served in agronomy leadership positions at Hot Springs Country Club in Arkansas and The Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Lake Oconee, Georgia.
RSM US: The title sponsor of the RSM Classic announces that Luke List has won $300,000 through RSM’s Birdies Fore Love on-course competition for recording the most birdies (or better) over the seven events of the 2023 FedEx Cup Fall. As part of the program, the money will be donated to List's choice of a children- and/or family-focused charitable organization or organizations. RSM’s Birdies Fore Love also awarded $50,000 to Eric Cole for carding the most birdies or better during the RSM Classic.
LPGA Tour: Lilia Vu earns the 2023 Rolex Player of the Year award and Atthaya Thitikul the Vare Trophy following their fourth- and fifth-place finishes, respectively, at the CME Group Tour Championship. Vu, 26, won four times this season, including her first two majors at the Chevron Championship and AIG Women’s Open. Thitikul is the 34th different winner of the Vare Trophy and the second player from Thailand to earn the honor, joining Ariya Jutanugarn (2018).
