United States Golf Association: The U.S. National Junior Team will host Australian High Performance July 2-3 at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, creating the first-of-its-kind competition for the newly-developed U.S. National Development Program. A World Amateur Golf Ranking-sanctioned event, the match will feature 12 players representing each nation in a mixed Ryder Cup-style format.
Bushnell Golf: Introduces the Phantom 3 Slope GPS device, which includes slope compensated distances, auto-prompt score entry, auto course and hole recognition, a round timer and an odometer. Offered in four colors, the Phantom 3 Slope will be available at Bushnell Golf retailers in June and will retail for $149.99.
Dragon Golf: Launches a patented line of Dragon Skin grips, a collection that provides improved grip stability and orientation for the lead and trail hands. The butt-end grip portion of Dragon Skin grips feature a convex protrusion that conforms to the hand to provide an advanced grip connection to increase grip strength and prevent twisting at impact. It also has a progressive ergonomic design being larger on the lead hand and regresses to a smaller size on the trail hand. Dragon Golf grips are available in two models (standard and firm) and colors (navy and black), four sizes and retail for $17.99.
