FIRST THOUGHT

This time a year ago, the name Wyndham Clark was anything but a household one. He sat 151st on the Official World Golf Ranking and was winless on the PGA Tour. Today? Thanks, in part, to winning the 2023 U.S. Open and Saturday's brilliant 60 at Pebble Beach Golf Links to sneak off with a weather-shortened win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Clark sits at No. 6 in the ranking. Clark and Viktor Hovland are tied for most PGA Tour wins since May 1, 2023, with three each.
