When a brand can connect with a consumer time and again, a certain amount of loyalty is built. But it also works in the opposite direction and a National Golf Foundation survey conducted in March 2025 revealed as much. Among the results of the survey, in 2024 "only half of core golfers could recall a single meaningful interaction at a course or club that left them feeling valued or special" and one-third of golfers said "the staff where they play most often don’t know their name."
