> Two players in the field are playing the PGA Championship at Valhalla for the fourth time: John Daly, Phil Mickelson
> The last three winners of the PGA Championship each won with single-digit under-par scores — all three are also multiple winners of the PGA Championship: Brooks Koepka, 9-under at Oak Hill (2023, 2019, 2018); Justin Thomas, 5-under at Southern Hills (2022, 2017); and Phil Mickelson, 6-under at Kiawah Island (2021, 2005).
> Scottie Scheffler enters the week on a streak of 40 consecutive rounds at par-or-better dating to an even- par final-round 70 at the 2023 Tour Championship.
